Dr. Ryan brings a decade of experience navigating the Canadian healthcare system, both as a frontline provider and as a HealthTech founder. His unique perspective—combining clinical practice with health innovation and entrepreneurship—offers invaluable insight into the challenges and opportunities within healthcare procurement in Canada.

Driven by a passion for improving patient care and enabling new technologies, Dr. Ryan understands the critical role that procurement plays in strengthening and modernizing our healthcare system. He believes that embracing homegrown innovation and empowering Canadian hospitals to access solutions developed by Canadian companies are essential steps to building a more resilient future.

At ProCURE 2025, Dr. Ryan’s goal is to help create a space for open, impactful conversation around the barriers, breakthroughs, and practical solutions in healthtech procurement.
